B/E Aerospaces Oak Plaza operations are comprised of the core enabling functions, including: Engineering, Research and Development, Program Management, Product Support, Strategic Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, Quality, Finance and Human Resources. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of positions available right now, including a Financial Analystin our Seating Products businesslocated in Winston:Salem, NC.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Aircraft Seating finance team, primarily focused on tracking, forecasting, and analyzing engineering spend. This position will be based in Winston Salem, NC and report to the Manager Financial Planning and Analysis.
:Tracks Engineering spending by cost center and perform variance analysis to understand differences to forecast and budget
:Distributes reports to leadership team that shows engineering spending trends by account, cost center, and manufacturing site
:Works cross:functionally with Engineering cost center leads to review spending trends and understand future needs in order to accurately forecast total Engineering spend
:Supports FP and A reporting requirements and month:end close processes
:Supports annual budget and strategic planning cycles
:Performs other related duties as required
:Bachelor's Degree from a four:year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on:the:job training, and/or work experience.
:Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
:Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc. Experience with MRP / ERP systems.
:Ability to model financial statements and calculate growth rates
Experience using SAP and/or Hyperion Financial Management
